Terms of Use

1. The service
Where is My Pet? is a free community app to help reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners. Users publish sightings of pets seen on the street and can register their own pets to be notified if someone finds them. By using the app you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
You need an account to publish content. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you post and for keeping your credentials safe. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → delete account).
3. Community rules
- Only post content related to lost or found pets.
- No false, misleading, offensive or commercial content.
- Be kind — the app exists to help pets and the people who love them.
Posts can be reported by users and removed. Accounts that abuse the service may be suspended or terminated.
4. Content you publish
You keep ownership of the photos and text you post. By publishing, you allow us to display them in the app so the community can help. Sightings are public and stop appearing on the map automatically after a few days.
5. Liability
The app connects people of good will, but we cannot guarantee that a pet will be found, nor do we verify the identity of users. When arranging to return a pet, prefer public, busy places. The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.
6. Privacy
How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves; the date above always reflects the latest version.
